Mac won’t turn on
Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.
- Connect the charger and wait at least 10 minutes.
- Hold the power button for about 10 seconds, release it, then press it normally.
- Disconnect all accessories and try again.
- Try another compatible charger or outlet.
- On Apple silicon Macs, keep holding the power button to see whether Startup Options appears.
