No sound or microphone
Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.
- Make sure the plug is fully inserted and mute is off.
- Choose the correct output device in Sound settings.
- Choose the correct microphone input.
- Allow microphone access in Privacy settings.
- Reconnect the device or reinstall its driver.
