Steam download is stuck

Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.

1. Pause and resume the download.
2. Restart Steam.
3. Clear the download cache.
4. Change the download region.
5. Check available storage space.
6. Open Steam > Settings > Storage and repair the library folder if available.

Back up important files before repairs that may affect storage or system settings.
