Storage problem
Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.
- Restart and check File Explorer or Finder.
- Reconnect the drive and try another port or cable.
- Check Disk Management on Windows or Disk Utility on Mac.
- Free up storage space.
- Back up important files if the drive clicks or disconnects.
