Windows Bluetooth issues

Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.

  1. Open Device Manager and expand Bluetooth.
  2. Right-click the main Bluetooth adapter and choose Uninstall device.
  3. Restart the PC so Windows can reinstall it.
  4. Run Windows Update, including optional driver updates.
  5. Install the Bluetooth driver from the PC or motherboard manufacturer if needed.
More help: Keep a wired mouse or keyboard available before removing a Bluetooth driver.

Back up important files before repairs that may affect storage or system settings.
