Mac Bluetooth issues

Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.

  1. Turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  2. Restart the Mac and the Bluetooth device.
  3. Forget the device and pair it again.
  4. Charge the Bluetooth device.
  5. Install available macOS updates.
More help: Keep a wired input device available if your only keyboard or mouse uses Bluetooth.
