No display

Try these steps in order. Stop if a step does not apply to your device or could risk important data.

1. Make sure the monitor is on and set to the correct input.
2. Reconnect the HDMI or DisplayPort cable.
3. If you have a graphics card, connect the monitor to the graphics card.
4. Turn off and unplug the PC, then reseat the RAM.
5. Try another cable or display.

Back up important files before repairs that may affect storage or system settings.
